Im a NSTU graduate. My speciality is radioengineering.
So, Is there any ways to go abroad to study or to work?
Have I to finish TOEFL course?

:улыб:
For example USA, Britain, I think they are the most popular, or another European country.
I have a little information at all.
what would you like to study? or maybe you're interested in emigration :а\?:
fleure12
Not to emigrate. I'd like to travel and study or work, and just to vary my life.
What for? There are a lot of interesting places in our country. Before travel abroad, not bad idea to know your motherland.
OK...
everything depends on what you can do.. I think your specialization is quite good to find a fair job in Germany or in USA. There are such organizations - like AISEC, TASIC in Novosibirsk. As I know NSTU has IEEE organization that can help you to get abroad with technical education.:улыб:
Another way is to find job in Representation of foreign company in Novosibirsk and then to go for internship..
I used to practice the last way. It works..
Good luck!
You can also apply to employment agencies for the information. There are some in Novosibirsk which provide such services.

Your are absolutly right. But it is not an answer on my question.
fleure12
OK, I'll try. As I understand you have such experience.
Where did you work? Did you need any certificate to proof your language skills?
I worked for one of international company, working at the fields of education. There was no need to prove my english level, because my boss recomended my candidacy to be taken for internship.
But I passed TOEFL for different student programs which i took part in (with minimum 550). I think it's always necessary.
Maybe the situation is differ for IT specialists...i'm humanitarian.. for us it's more difficult to prove that we're clever enough:улыб:
There's a close to zero chance to obtain an H1B visa (US working visa) for a recent University graduate (i.e., no work experience) from outside the States. Ergo, the only option to get there (besides being Jewish/refugee or having a close relative in the States) it to apply for a Master's program in your field. Would you prefer to pursue this line, having a good TOEFL score is a must; local ACTR/ACCELS may help with the information pertaining to the currently available programs.

i would like to emigrate to UK? Is it possible?
You may consult one of the agencies that sends students abroad. I am dealing with the students' inquiries. We may help you.

Wonderful English speking people say 'this country' when they mean their native one... Sorry if it seems a correction of the mistake. It's just a topic for discussion. By the way, not an 'off' one.
Lukus
Народ ну чего вы так смешно по английски пишете?
Русскими фразами переведенными со словарем и без юзаджа:).

>>>Wonderful English speking people say 'this country' when they mean their native one... Sorry if it seems a correction of the mistake. It's just a topic for discussion. By the way, not an 'off' one.

My translation from your indian english to real one:
"..Proficient english speaking person tells 'this country' when he speaks about his native country.
Sorry if I correct your mistake I speak english very bad but try to pretend that my skills are very good:).
It is just a subject of discussion.
However, it isn't 'off' one. .."
One has to be pretty damn sure that his own English is indeed glorious to correct other people's syntax. Bad news, pal - your 'real' English is quite far from the ideal as well. Where is the article before 'person'? Where is the dash in 'English-speaking?' And why your 'English' does not start with a capital? And why the hell did your natural-born English speaker become just 'proficient'? Honestly, your choice of words could be way better.

People come here to communicate in English despite not being perfect; they don't come here to be criticized by some snotty-nose semi-educated fellows with attitude problems, like yourself.

Congradulations Givi!
You english is same or better then mine. I'm rather "proficient" cause english is second language for me. My native as you may guess is russian.
Having lived at english speaking country for 7 years I picked up some english just automatically.
SO when I red this thread it become quite amusing to see thier stupid choice of words.
I know I was just like them some times ago. But cann't help myself to keep me from some joking over thiers.
Sorry you are right of cause it is just not thier fault they just never had real practice with english.
Chao:).
In the country where I live now some people speak English as well, so that I've been able to pick it up; however, I never considered my English flawless, and as such, am quite reluctant to grade other people's language skills.

Peace.
the topic sounds already pretty funny. you'd better think over how to move abroad then to get it in your own usage (:

pardon me for my ugly english. since --
Try "work&travel" - simplest way if u`r don`t have relatives there (the best way for travelling USA). Other 1`s - bakking - try this
